doh! too much torque :-)

hey all,
this just happened at 6:49pm last night while i was out tuning my tnx. it was fkn awesome and ripped up the dirt and when i drove thru the wer grass i had like 5m high water rooster tails! lol. half way thru the tank i notice i could slam throttle but no take off. i turned off engine, came inside and found this after taking my tranny apart:

what is left of my slipper clutch:D

tnx mods again!

ok gang, here are my latest racing and bashing mods for the truck.

basic bashing mod (to add more weight to front of car for improved steering and also allows for another fuel tank to be installed in spot where receiver/switch box was):

racing mod (installing the fuel tank upfront where the receiver/switch box was which adds more weight to front for even more improved steering and also better jump/air control, will hopefully stop nose high jumps):

also with my 1:1 petrol buggy/atv, it turns out SOMEONE killed the damn accelerator system so now we have no throttle control. hopefully on monday the teacher will have bought the chain and i will hook up the whole system and also get the throttle working again by ripping out the wire from inside the tube/housing and placing strong fishing line inside it so then it has room to move about and can now acutally move the throttle lever

there goes the engine!

well not really, the engine didnt exactly explode or anything like that, but the compression got so high that when it turned over a blast of burning hot fuel and liquid scalded my hand. ALSO, the front engine case bearing (7x19x6mm) has ruptured and created a damn leak! now the engine cant get a proper tune and is basically useless. I already got a replacement bearing on its way in the mail from the US via ebay since i cant be stuffed paying like $40 bucks AUD for a single bearing, what a rip off!

and i cant wait to tune and get my teams 1:1 petrol buggy/atv vehicle up and running. all is needed is the chain and the brake setup, but someone ruined the throttle linkage and now we have no throttle control from the foot level, just great!

tnx mod test drive

well after doing all those mods n stuff to my truck i finally got it 2gether and gave it a run for its life. bloody hell.

this is what you get with a tnx 5.2r running at less than half a tank which is tuned a bit lean and suffered abit from half tank empty lean syndrome, lol!

hi peoples,
at skool now and god, sose is so boring and now were getting a damn lecture about our first task. great, due in 1 weeks time and its a dead boring task; hyperlinking a document to like 50 other documents. hmm, should be easy. 9 min til end of class! then hello science and i didnt do my science homework :-0

anyways, i'm after a fuel tank for my tnx 5.2r which is more than 130cc and is like kind of a square box shape.

let me know if you got one!

ok, after a bit of debating about the fuel tank mod and it not working i decided to put it back to original position or i shall buy a different fuel tank and then mod it to fit onto the tnx. i will thus remove the fuel tank mod from my posts.

apparently fuel line tubing is heat resistant so if it touches the engine cooling head nothing bad should happen such as it melting but i aint exactly convinced. time for testing it out. well i cant test out my truck til i get a front case bearing which i ordered off ebay and should be in the mail very soon.

so, whats the next mod i shall do??? post replies if you wanna know anything about the truck or the mods i did.
